How to go about quitting?

I work as a factory manager at a furniture factory in North Carolina, I was hired as an engineer but I was straight up lied to about what the job was. I've been here for 4 months and it is just miserable, depressing, and soul crushing. I am also required to do mandatory overtime every week and work 45-50 hours a week for 45,000 a year. And there is not really a single pleasant coworker, almost everybody here is an almost stereotypical awful factory worker. I want to turn in a two weeks notice tomorrow, but I am very afraid of retaliation in the form of being fired, or harassed (most likely), or from one of my supervisors maybe even getting violent. What would be the best way to go about leaving this company?
