Hey peeps! It's not exactly a 1 to 1 here but titles are hard.
Earlier this year I was removed from a client's account after I had to file an HR complaint against them. I was fine with this bc, hey, I didn't have to work with the prick anymore.
Had a couple accounts go pretty well for me since then, but for one of my most recent ones I was unable to collaborate as well as my colleagues bc I literally *did not have access to the account* for a month after my coworkers. We were also having pointless meetings every goddamn day and dozens of emails (very few of either of these were relevant to me.) So I sent the account manager an email (CC'd my boss) asking that I be excused from meetings where my participation wasn't necessary.
Next thing I know, my boss calls me pissed off bc they want me taken off the account for lack of professionalism and bold face lied that I said they were “wasting my time” . Boss wrote up a formal warning citing the bs about professionalism and also *cited the feedback from a friend of the guy I wrote an HR complaint against*.
My boss literally used feedback from a buddy of my harasser on a project I was removed from bc I filed an HR complaint (other people had left before me specifically bc of this guy). This warning/review is in **writing** .
TLDR; boss gave me a negative performance review and vaguely threatened my job security over feedback from 1 account I didn't have access to and another I filed an HR complaint against and I'm **pissed off**.
