I just need to vent about some of the practices of the company here including some that are actually illegal…(This is a work-from-home position)
- We use multiple programs that each require different login details, if one locks you out you have to CLOCK OUT and call them to reset all of the info. You are required to do this even though you are not paid for it.
- If their system starts having issues like lag, locking you out, not taking calls, etc, you are required to stay at your workstation, but not be paid.
- If you put in for PTO and have it approved, it may actually NOT be PTO, but instead unpaid time off.
- If a member calls in and is threatening or using abusive language you are not allowed to hang up on them nor take a tone, you have to be kind and connect them to a supervisor, then you are encouraged to take a “wellness break” which is unpaid.
- If a member is upset with the Humana benefits they have, and they leave a bad review for Humana itself, it reflects on you as a worker and you can even have a coaching up to termination for it.
There are PLENTY of other things the company does and scenarios that are bullshit but these are the biggest ones I needed to rant about. Hope this can gain some traction cause especially not being paid is bull but the Labor board won't do anything about it (They won't even take a call)
