I work part time at a retail store. Last week I believe I hyper extended my knee at work. I was lifting a dog food bag off of a pallet and it hit my knee and I believe it bent backwards causing a shooting pain in my knee. I went right up to the managers office and notified them of what happened and I had to fill out a form. A week later and the pain came back. If I happen to need surgery, will they pay me for my time off? Or will I just be let go because I’m only part time?
