Wtf?
My job gives me 6 weeks PTO. I scheduled a trip for 2 weeks and this was the response from my manager.
Been there 3 months, no rules against taking my time that early, and nothing particularly pressing. Aside from the fact that I do sales and that there are quotas and such. Which I have already been hitting.
I don't understand why she has to make me feel guilty for taking my PTO, esp after approving it. It seems dumb but I'm having a hard time being excited about my trip now.
Overall I really like my job. It's not the worst.
But still, today just reminded me that we're all a bunch of peasants. God forbid we use our PTO…
