I was picking orders today in the warehouse I work in and one of the shift leads came down to inform me to be careful pulling orders from my zone cause one of the skids of product isn't fully secure to the tracks for some unknown reason meaning it could of come loose off the tracks and pin me against the conveyor line crushing the lower half of my body we're talking multiple skids of product that could possibly roll out off the tracks that weigh I'd say at least a thousand pounds each well I immediately inturupted her and said okay let me pull out my phone real quick so I can record what's going on here that way if I get hurt I can sue this company for OSHA violations and she got TRIGGERED told me she'd just move me somewhere else then since I wanna be like that etc and the next 30mins after that I was expecting to get fired cause she went straight to the supervisor and told him what I said but nobody else came to talk to me about it the supervisor came by about an hour after the incident and told me it's all fixed and safe now I just replied saying thanks and that was it we are extremely short staffed so I doubt it would happen right away but should I expect to be fired from this job in the future at random for making such a threat? I don't plan on staying here long term it's just something to save up some money for the next year or 2 just wanna know if I should continue applying to other companies I just applied to a few after my shift just in case they pull some BS
