We were so busy and there was only two other people there because the company is cutting hours, I had not eaten or drunk anything all day, partly my fault for not doing so before work (I was so busy before I had to come in and didn’t find the time) and when I came to work it was already so busy I didn’t have time to grab a water bottle, no problem, I’ll just drink something on my lunch. Well, it was four hours into my shift and I was informed that no one could cover me on my lunch bc the other person had to leave because we “can’t go over on hours”. I had a huge line of people. I break down and start crying and saying I’m going to walk out then. Guys, I genuinely felt like I was going to pass out. I was SO THIRSTY. It was the one thing I was looking forward to, and I realized I couldn’t even get a sip of fucking water. After I threatened to leave all of a sudden it’s okay to go on break, which I didn’t even eat anything, I just drank a bottle of water and went back up. Anyway, I found out that the manager is telling everyone I got “overwhelmed” as if I can’t handle the job. I’m so annoyed about this, I’m also worried I will get written up about it
