I was working at SunTrust Bank and then transferred to a BB&T branch and things are so different, but I'm getting used to it. I've been there two weeks and everyone has been nice and helpful. Here are the reason I dislike it and its 100% personal, also heads up this post is me 100% complaining.
1) The computers are so slow. At SunTrust my computer was fast and I could have multiple programs open, also at SunTrust our monitors were around 23 inches, the monitor that I'm currently using is about 17 inches. I know this doesnt seen bad but it's just such a downgrade
2) At SunTrust we had 3 cash drawers at each teller station, at the new branch we only have 2 at each station. Which I know doesn't sound bad, but when you have businesses and gas stations that deposit thousands of dollars of cash at a time that third draw is where we used to put that and then strap it later.
3) The breakroom, the microwave is broken and all the servers are in the break room, it is dusty and looks like it's used for mainly storage. At SunTrust we had a dedicated room for our servers.
4) I've been there two weeks and haven't been able to set up my teller station yet cause the computer is broken and they are waiting for a part to come in so I've had to share stations with other workers.
5) There are no vaults. At SunTrust we had a safe box vault, supply vault, and cash box/ cash vault, and every teller had their own coin locker with combination. Everything at this branch is lock and key which I just find weird and apparently where the tellers store their coins can all be opened with one key, even though everyone has their own key and coin locker.
