I Found Out a Former Co-Worker Died

I was talking to someone and he told me how a former co-worker died in his sleep in his mid 30's. This post isn't about how the company reacted. He was ruining his health trying to do his workload and impress his bosses. Unlike others there, he did move up, but he took on the stress to do it. Sadly, something similar happened to someone else there 5-6 years earlier. The CEO came out in her non-safety shoes to talk about it that time. Then we went back to work. I left that place because of abuse and stress. After starting my new job, my pulse went down like 10 bpm. Most of have to work to make money, but don't try to “make an impression” or go above and beyond at the cost of your health.
