I started a new job almost a month ago. Pretty perfect job for someone who hates them.
5hr shifts
Saturdays & Sundays
Today I used their call in line where it specifically states that you can EITHER call, email or text if you're going to be absent.
I emailed & sent a text because I fucking had the option to.
Anyway, a few hours later I got an email stating:
“Hey CSW,
We did not see a call out for your scheduled shift and no communicating about an absence is a no call no show final. Please let us know if you reached out to us. Thank you and we will see you Saturday.”
I swear to all that's holy, no one better approach me on Saturday about this shit.
