I gave my manager as much notice as he gives us with our schedules

That is, I told him not to schedule me starting August 1st. He's livid, but I really don't care. I know he's upset, but I don't understand how he thinks he can underpay educated employees (this is a franchise for a nationwide tutoring company which requires passing academic tests to become an employee) and give them crazy schedules and expect them to stick around. He's demanding two weeks notice. I think I'm just going to ignore his texts. As of right now, he only has the schedule written for Monday, so I'm considering that my last day.
