The Uk ditched any self -isolation rules weeks ago. I had Covid and I could come to work, but my boss told me to stay home. I thought that obviously she would pay me, cinsidering it's her unilateral decision to stop me earning money, but at the end of the month I had the bad surprise: I was not paid for the days she told me to stay home. When I said that I could have gone by law, she started with my “moral duties” towards the society.
Edit: the focus of my post is my boss giving me the moral burden to choose between paying the bills and spreading the virus.
