Antiwork

I got Covid and for the UK law I didn’t have to isolate. My boss told me not to go to work though and I cannot work from home. She did not pay me for the sick days she asked me to stay home.

The Uk ditched any self -isolation rules weeks ago. I had Covid and I could come to work, but my boss told me to stay home. I thought that obviously she would pay me, cinsidering it's her unilateral decision to stop me earning money, but at the end of the month I had the bad surprise: I was not paid for the days she told me to stay home. When I said that I could have gone by law, she started with my “moral duties” towards the society. Edit: the focus of my post is my boss giving me the moral burden to choose between paying the bills and spreading the virus.
