Guys i'm going to tell yall I am so tired of this state and how people treat each other here. I am so done with this damn place. I am so over people who scream “Help me! Help me! If I dont get help right now it's going to be over with!” and then when you go to help them that person shows exactly why they dont have anyone to help them. Beware of the business both big and small that tells you they need help because chances are they chased off their help or are just intolerable and pretend like they dont need help as they beg for help. Let those people fall on their face. They need to be humbled.
I accepted a job yesterday afternoon from a man that looked me in the eyes and for 2 hours gave me his story about how his shop is in the toilet and he cant fix it and he desperately needed help to save him. For those two hours we spent together he said the equivalent of things like I think my team is taking advantage of me! I do and do and they dont do for me! For two hours he spent his time gas lighting me and getting me to feel sorry for him and want to help him. I showed up at his shop today after we discussed due to me having to load all my tools up and make two trips with my tool boxes it would be perfectly fine for me to run late today. I arrived 15 minutes late and this man who just the day before begged me to help him and rescue him came out to me slapping his watch on his wrist with such an attitude and the way he said what he said at that moment it left no question to why he was in the predicament he was in. The things that came out of his mouth about his team, the people he picked and was responsible for training and getting them up to his standards, were disgusting and unacceptable. It didnt take me long to understand he needed saving alright saving from himself because he is destroying himself and his shop and instead of acknowledging that he blames everything else for his failures and incompetence. Not to mention I informed him I had a back injury due to a car wreck and it would be such a challenge for me to load my tool boxes and bring them to his shop where I could do everything I could to help him but I wanted to help him so I would make it happen just for him.
I am grateful he showed me who he was before I made friends with the people there and had to leave. This man is a prime example of why no one wants to work.
