They say it’s because of my “absence and lateness” and it being a “burden” to assistant managers, but I have only called in sick like when I can barely move or go to work because I’m sick. And they sent the email at 10 am yesterday, and I sent one back asking to speak to the manager who emailed that —45 minutes later. And still haven’t gotten a response.
Like I graduated from a prestigious university and with a STEM degree and 3.0+ GPA, and this was all I could get since I have no technical experience or connections.
Like I lost my job right before Christmas and it was everything I had. Part of me is somewhat suicidal because I work so hard and all of that doesn’t fucking matter in this society. Whether it was my degree or work. Because at that workplace I always arrived early and left late. Provided good customer service. Good with my coworkers. I was the only one wearing a mask at that place, why did this all happen.
