It might just be me, but I don’t think the quota set upon us makes sense. We have individual quotas to make every day or averaged out by the end of the week (different numbers for every department)
Let’s say my quota is 50 pieces an hour for 8 hours daily = 400 a day or 2000 a week. We get an unpaid half hour lunch and two paid 15 min breaks.
Because we go on break and still clocked in, that is time taken away from our quota.
I get really frustrated that I work hard to keep up my numbers and then my paid breaks takes that away. I feel the numbers need to be readjusted to fit in breaks without losing anything, or maybe this is the norm?
