I jokingly tell my colleagues that I get paid 4 times as much as they do for that.
While I was joking, one colleague gave me a look and made a snarky comment about it, and I responded to it by saying “has there been any complaints about my work output? Come back to me when they fire me.”
If they pay you at a certain rate, you only need to work for that amount. Don't ever feel like you need to slave yourself for the sake of it. And if they expect you to do it, write it on the contract and get a fair compensation.
