I have a question about wrongful termination at work

So I got hurt at work a week ago where a robot basically slammed and clamped my head between a ladder and these robots carry 600+ lbs of work. They told me to go to the doctor on site and I did and they told me not to go to the doctors so I didn’t but they sent me right back to work after the injury even tho I had told them I was feeling lightheaded and unstable on my feet from it and then a week later they fired me for the injury. Are they allowed to fire for injury’s ?
