I just had the dreaded Friday afternoon layoff meeting

“Budget cuts” they said. I get 4 weeks paid then I'm unemployed. Luckily I've been looking for other jobs already and my managers are pretty good; been helping me navigate internal job postings to get moved. But it just sucks. It just fucking sucks.
