New apprentice starts at $14.05 and jumps up to 16.05 after the first 355 hours. Complete 1000 hours work plus 75 hours training and receive 5 percent raise. Complete another 1000 work and 75 training for another 5 percent raise. Another 1000 hours plus 75 training for a 10 percent raise. Complete last 1000 hours and 75 hours training to be 100 percent journeyman. Journeyman scale right now is 22.32 and it will be higher in a couple years when the new apprentices become journeyman.
