I need a change of pace

I currently work at what I originally thought was my “dream job.” It took me 6 years to work up to this position, and I’ve been here now for 2 years. This is a sales position in an outdoor industry that allows me to gain access to gear and destination locations. It’s nothing like I thought it would be and it’s draining me emotionally, mentally, and physically with all the travel I have to do. On top of that I am only making $60k a year with very little chance to move up or make more. I’ve been in a slump for the last two weeks and I think I need to change of direction. I’m considering going back to school for something more technical like programming or coding. Very broad I know, but I have a computer mindset and am willing to learn just about anything. Very broad I know, but I have a computer mindset and am willing to learn just about anything. I don’t need to make $100k+ a year, but WFH is imperative.

Any suggestions on the next career move? What is working for you guys out there? What isn’t? Thank you very much for any input.
