Hey folks. I'm just really in need of some encouragement. It's been a long hard slog doing constant interviews for the last twenty months. For the last twelve months I've been interviewing literally every single week, got myself to the final stage in 10 different roles and never managed to snag the job.
My confidence is shot. I'm also switching fields, so I knew this would be a long hard process. I did everything right…worked with a coach, learned good interview skills, good application skills. I know my own skillset quite well too.
I found a job that's perfect for once. Every other one I was a good enough fit, but had less experience or small gaps here and there for the job description. For this one, I'm a perfect candidate…I have everything they're asking for and more stuff I know they need but didn't list.
I have the interview on Thursday, and I'm really really low on self esteem and confidence. Trying to pull myself together and I'm preparing like hell of course…but I just can't shake the nerves.
Any advice?
