I was originally going to take a week off between jobs, because I’m massively depressed and home stuff has fallen on the back burner. So I wanted to use a week to get my shit together.
But they told me if I don’t work continuously, I will lose my vacation time. And I only have a week, so it’s not like I have enough to use that would still make it worth it. But it seems foolish to lose my time, since it takes like one month just to earn one day of time off.
So now I’m working continuously, with no break between jobs. So I get to leave one job, stressed and overwhelmed, and start a new one, also stressed and overwhelmed.
I just love America.
