I quit my job at Pizza 73 because the pay was abysmal. Couldn’t even fill my gas tank.

Even though it was technically contract work, I'm pretty sure paying below minimum wage and not taking my SIN is still a federal crime. I couldn't find anything that said this was legal. And I explained as much to him. Like, I spent a good few hours on Google and Canada dot ca and Alberta dot ca. Nothing. I couldn't even find anything on Pizza 73's website saying this. I feel like an asshole, quiting like that. I was the only driver at that location. And one of the biggest hockey games in years was gonna be played in the next day. At least locally. But I couldn't fill my tank. I'd get off work, spend all the money I earned and more to put gas my tank and still not have enough to fill it. It wasn't worth it. Literally.
