I quit my job today!

After a few year, I decided to quit my job today and emailed the resignation letter. I'm the only one in my department required to be in the office everyday, my boss actually moved to a different state and is allowed to telework full time while my request to telework one day a week was denied. I realized that after taxes and daycare, I don't actually make that much. And I miss so much work because my baby gets sick frequently from daycare. In case you didn't know, you still have to pay when your kid can't be there that week because they made your kid sick.
Don't worry, my spouse works and can make enough to support us and carries our health insurance. My spouse actually makes more than me despite no having a degree while I have a master's degree.

I've applied for telework jobs but I'm happy to not work for a while. I can't stand the rush hour drive and all the noise in the office.

I finally feel free!
