The security company that I applied for gave me a link to a HireVue interview through an AI text massage. So I never got a chance to talk to the hiring manager.
I didn't want to do it. but my father said we were desperate and needed money so I did the interview. I'm already anxious when it comes to interviewing so my anxiety was through the fucking roof. The questions were too broad and hard to answer because I'd never been in the scenarios that they were giving me. I tried my best anyway.
I didn't hear back from them. I had to go to their website and sign to find out that I was not selected for the role. They didn't have the balls to tell me themselves.
If a company has to bots to communicate with candidates and make them take one-sided interviews, they aren't the company for me. I don't care how desperate I am.
I feel foolish for not listening.
At this point, I'm thinking about starting my own shit so I don't have to keep going through this shit.
