Title says it all, really. His reason when I asked? “It’s just not working out” and refused to elaborate. What, after almost two years of me working with nothing but praise from clients, I’m not up to par? From what I know, nobody knew, but a colleague reckons I’m being replaced by a family friend of the boss. I’m going to try to arrange a meeting with him and my manager (who honestly has no clue why it happened) to get some more info. I’m upset, but honestly did want to leave. I get to not work my notice period, which is nice, but I still feel something is up.
I’m not sure how to feel as this was a shitty thing to do, he did it as soon as he came in and didn’t even ask how my holiday was! I’ve always known he’s a dick, but didn’t really expect this.
