Yesterday night i demonstratively left work AFTER my shift has ended without reporting myself to the manager because he kept wasting my time after ignoring my calls for half an hour asking him to come so i can report to him. Not even 5mins later he calls me and tells me to immediately come back and report myself. I come back and he pulls me to the side and starts yelling and threatening me that next time i leave without his permission i would be LITERALLY kicked out (as in with actual kicks). He kept going on and on about how he was my boss, he was more then me and i have no right to demonstratively walk out like this. It all happened during work hours and there were still customers in the restaurants although they couldn't see us im sure they heard the commotion.
Am i in the wrong? I know i have to report myself before my shift ends because I'm a waiter and it has to be correct but i left my report there, I just didn't give it to him personally. Should i complain to HR? If i do, can they terminate my contract immediately? I do not feel comfortable working there anymore since that scandal cause my colleagues were on his side as well.
