Antiwork

I work in the airport as a cook originally but our restaurant is being renovated so the company put me in retail. I don’t understand why I’m not allowed to sit down.

Last week I was working at one of our stores and there was a chair behind the counter when I opened so I sat down when customers weren't in the store, 2 of my managers (Bill and Susan)came to check on me and didn't say anything about me sitting. A couple hours later a different manager (Karen) comes and says that sitting isn't allowed and takes my chair, so I sit on the floor for the rest of my shift. Today I'm at the same store and the same thing happens but this time Karen says that in order for me to sit I need a doctor's note. I go grab a chair and bring it back to the store and schedule a doctor's appointment. Idk expecting people to stand for 8 hours is insane. And needing a doctor's note to sit down is inhumane and discriminatory.
