So yesterday I was really busy at my job since I'm the only one in my warehouse that knows how to fulfill this one accounts orders and couldn't take a lunch. I had asked my manager if it would be okay for me to leave 45 mins early (that's how long my lunch is) and he said it wasn't a problem.
I get a message from my supervisor who's at a different warehouse and she's asking me to stay for my lunch and then leave at 4pm.
I had told her it would be pointless considering the last 45mins of my shift were to just sit in the break room until I had to leave and that I would be no help since I'd just be waiting to leave. Our scanners make us wait a few minutes if it's the same person trying to scan again.
Today we're having a meeting about something later today. Not sure if it's about me just leaving early instead of staying for my lunch but I'm not sure if that's a major offense.
