If people won’t strike in fear of losing food, shelter, healthcare and so on, why not put all of our faith into demanding food, shelter, healthcare and so on?

The powers that be will give us what we want or the working population will die, albeit slowly. If we die, who will serve their tendies? They rely on our work every single day. Odds are, our demands would be met within the hour and none of this, “they won’t allow us to strike,” nonsense.
