If you want high performing staff and retain them at that level – hey, uh maybe don’t harass them, who would’ve thought. Or maybe figure out who’s harassing your employees and reprimand them.

You have to bffr right now in certain sectors complaining about not being able to hire the right people, spend time and money onboarding on recruits, train them up – just to harass them. Interfere with their level of productivity. Look around, if all you're getting is consultants (nice people), the problem isn't the people you're hiring. It's you.
