(Florida) Looking for advice, my roommate started serving at a restaurant that uses a tip pool system. The problem being that 40% of his tips are being taken “by the house” before the rest is added to the tip pool. I am under the impression that “the house” is not allowed to take any percentage of tips. I’m interested in getting some advise and maybe some arrows in the right direction for resources on the matter
