I’m not being soft, these are terrible conditions, aren’t they?

I recently transferred into a new unit within my police department. I'm not wrong in saying the following conditions are inhumane? Being on call every single shift. This means I could potentially be called out before the first shift of the week, as well as after the last shift of the week. Being required to leave my personal car at work so I can take the work vehicle home. I am also not allowed to use the work vehicle at home, which means I have no vehicle for personal use. Being potentially required to work anywhere within about a 10 hour drive, and then being required to stay the night. Excessive amount of overtime (potentially up to 40 hours a week).
