Hello everyone. I recently started a new job, its my 3rd ever job and its awful. Its disorganized, filled with judgemental and rude coworkers who are always telling me one thing and then saying another thing the next second. And get mad at me when I misunderstood or didn't know what to do. They tell me to do this, then I do it. They get mad that I do it and say I should've done it another way. ALL DAY LONG. My mangers are rude, they never listen and I was told id be working with my sister. I only found out 2 days before I started working that I wouldn't even be allowed to work in the same unit as her cus relatives cant be in the same unit. Although it isnt in a written contract id work with her, I have text messages between me and one of my managers clearly explaing id be working with her. Then tells me I cant 2 days before. I decided to go ahead with it because I need the money. Its 16$ an hour with a whole ass union providing insane benefits. But I couldn't do it. It was beyond horrible, and I have flat feet. So my feet have been hurting. I never notice the pain in my feet when I was a server because id be constantly walking around. In this job I am just standing as a cashier. I notice the pain, and no amount of pain killers help. They don't know this though so I dont know if I can use this as a reason to leave? I dont want to leave a 2 week resignation letter. I want to quit. But idk how. I've never quit before and a lot of people are telling me different things. Can I just text my manager that I quit? I dont want to but if I have to ill tell her face to face. But im almost done with my shift so im not sure I have time. I'll text my manager tonight (they are working even after my shift ending at 9 pm). Can I just say I quit and thats it? How do I ask for the rest of my payment? They also have a problem with my bank account that I need to change the number so they can deposit my check in correctly so I have that problem. I need advice. Thank you!
