I just wanted to get other peoples opinions on this as it irked me a bit when I saw my email. A few months ago I quit my job as a manager working for a fast food chain restaurant. Now, after I reapplied to a different store in the same district, they want to hire me at a lower position and “see how things go” which I don't feel great about. Should I hold my ground in regards to being hired on as a manager or just hope they'll “recertify” me to be a manager as I need the pay raise that comes with that position?
EDIT: Thank you to everyone who gave advice! I have sent an email back asking in regards to pay and position and am waiting for a reply.
