It's so crazy. I do remodels/hanyman stuff, my wife cleans houses and she's a school teacher, and we both have our real estate license.
We aren't incredibly successful by any stretch, but it's so obscured to me my dad still pretty much thinks I'm lazy lol. He told me the other day “He never met someone who works so hard not to work”
I work enough to pay bills and feed my kids. And then I work as little as possible to enjoy my life with them. These fucking boomers cannot be satisfied unless you work your entore life away like they did. No thanks
By the way, yes he's absolutely loaded. And fucking lonely and miserable too. Can't wait till they are all dead.
