Last Monday, (one week ago from today), I had an interview at a local store. The following morning, I got a call from a manager offering me a position, which I accepted. They then told me I needed to come in and sign some papers. I did, and then they told me I would be getting an email soon to complete the onboarding process and after that, I'd be getting a call from the training manager regarding my starting date.
Fast forward to today, and I have yet to get either an email or a call from anyone at the store. I'm beginning to think they ghosted me, and I just wasted the last week waiting when I could've been actively searching for another job.
(I just quit my last job because I could no longer afford the gas for the long commute.)
