Pretty self explanatory. This was a company where I took care of disabled children and helped them learn skills like speech and using the bathroom themselves. They paid us only 14$/hour with zero gas or travel coverage while expecting us to drive all over the Phoenix area from person to person's house each hour. This meant days would often consist of only 4 hours of paid time, while also having us on the road for several unpaid hours to get from house to house. For reference, fast food workers here tend to make at least 16$/hour.
Hitting us with this “you just need money management classes” when their paychecks tended to be about 300$/week is honestly the most insulting thing I've heard from any employer
