Boss wants to have a talk

- Started showing up late and missing days more often since Oct
- Some of my reasons we're legit like ER/Urgent Hospital visits, transport issues, etc. some were just bc I didn't want to or overselpt
- I enjoy the job for the most part, but my boss has been annoyed with me for a while now
- I know they're desprate for people (always had a fast turn around according to co-workers) and
- $1500 sign-on bonus is split 300 after 3 months, 500 after 6, 700 after a year; was not advertised as such on the posting and I still haven't recieved the first 300, when I asked why she said bc of my attendance and that we'll need to talk with the CFO, this was weeks ago. also kinda a sign that they really needed all the help they could get
- Was told there was a shift differential during interview (coworkers said there's never been one)
- Frankly I've got some major burnout with work, side business that has begun to pick up but still not consistent, multiple addications I'm trying to quit, unsupportive living situation (like contantly being threatened to be kicked out despite me being the only one to pay rent, takes care of my grandma, and the house)
- The work I do is easy and there's no supervison during 2nd shift so its super chill, but there's a lot of pressure to produce, and there's a lot of favortism (like being denied OT and it being given to someone who doesn't want it and has kids to take care of)
- I told myself they needed me more than I needed them but idk bc I really do need the coin
- There are other jobs out there tho
- I think they separated me and my fav co worker bc shes been working day shift for the past 2 weeks
- $18/hr
Do I quit? Do I negotiate? Do I beg?
Best case scenario is she has pity on me and is super understanding and lets me work 4 ten hour's intead of the cuurent 5 eights (or a fat raise), but she's refused everyone who has asked except for one person and it doesn't seem like she's the type to fall for a sob story.
