A couple of months ago, I asked what I could do against my former employer who woefully underpaid me. I since then have found a new job that pays better.
Now they are in a pinch. Most people have quit or are considering quitting. They asked me to pick up a few shifts. I said that I'll think about it. The thing is, for a second job in my country, you pay A LOT of taxes. So when the meeting happens to discuss pay, I'm going to ask double the hourly rate they initially paid me. Of they say no, they can figure it out themselves, seeing as they are desperate.
