Whelp, I've got a new job that I'm pretty optimistic about, but… they need me to complete a couple of hours of online training before they'll finalize my hiring. I'm pretty sure that this is illegal – confirmation of that would be welcome – but I've decided to tolerate it for now, because I need this job, and I've got a good feeling how it's going to go once I've actually got it. This is a situation with the policy set by upper management / HR, and I won't be dealing with those people on a regular basis.
But, although I want this job badly enough to overlook it for now, I'm annoyed and vindictive enough to report them if they don't renew my contract at the end of my first term.
My question is, what information do I need for when/if the time comes?
