My notice period ends this week. She sat me down. Said we needed to have a chat. Proceeded to tell me she’d heard through rumours that I don’t have another job (I do), only quit because I didn’t want to work Christmas (I’ll give her that one) and that my parents are furious with me (not once have I ever mentioned my family to her, and also they’re not). This was a half hour long conversation. I’m not looking for advice because I’m out of there now. But what the fuck?
