I’m 27 and relatively healthy, nothing crazy in terms of medical expenses for me— I’d like to quit my job and travel for 4-5 months. I looked into what COBRA would be if I quit and it would be about 600/month.
Looking for advice on how to handle insurance for these 4/5 months. Would travelers insurance cover me in other countries/ would COBRA work there as well?
I’m also based in New Jersey in case that makes a difference at all!
Debating just risking it as well and not having any insurance for those months.
I’m mainly just looking for how everyone handles insurance when you quit your job!
