I ask because my brother is bent on getting an MBA. He thinks it will be his golden ticket to a nice management job even though he has no experience in management.
He majored in business as an undergrad and was incensed when he couldn't get a management job right out of school. It's like he still thinks it's the 1970s and can't bring himself to accept that the system, including the work world and academia, have failed. He's in his mid 30s.
So is an MBA worth much? Will it get a person into a decent management job?
