So without revealing too much about my situation, my boss manages a few offices and I rarely get to see them in person. I’m planning on quitting my job and not coming back after the holidays.
I really want to give them my 2 week’s notice in person because I feel like that’s the polite thing to do— plus my boss has a lot of influence in the industry and I want to quit properly as to not give them a reason to shit talk me behind my back when I try to look for something else.
I’ve done the math and the only day they would be in the office two weeks before the last day in the office is on their birthday.
I don’t have a great relationship with my boss but it’s definitely not bad either, so I still feel bad doing it on that day.
Does anyone have some words of wisdom for my anxious ass
