Is a job ever worth relocating your life for? I've heard so many horror stories of people spending small fortunes to move for a job just to be let down or even quickly let go that it makes me wonder if relocating for a job is ever the correct move. Perhaps only if you were going to relocate to that place anyway, job or not, would it make sense. Or perhaps if the pay is enough that you could retire very quickly if let go, it would make sense.
What do you think about relocating for a job? I've had a lot of offers to do this lately, and am kind of wanting to move, but am just not sure if it's worth the bother.
