For context, I F32 got a job offer to work in the USA in one of the most expensive cities. This is a transfer from their branch in Africa. While calculating the expenses, I noticed that I couldn't afford to pay my bills and loans in Africa and at the same time sustain a life in the US. In the negotiation process I asked for a salary raise and the HR lady asked me for my expenses break down so that she has a real reason for getting the salary requested. I have been working for this organization for the past 3 year and always performing beyond expectations.
