Is it normal to no longer be eligible for rehire within a company after quitting without notice?

I posted a few days ago in here about wanting to quit my job after working three shifts and I did so successfully! I told my manager I was giving in my notice and she told me I still had to work one weeks notice, which seemed a little strange to me, especially considering I was still learning how to do things on the job so I didn’t get how they needed me for an extra week when I’d essentially just be learning procedure I’d end up needing to discard anyway? I’ve worked a weeks notice at other jobs where I worked for several months but I never heard having to do it for somewhere I worked for only a few days. I went back home and reread my contract and it stated one week notice is only applicable if you’ve worked at the company for one month, anything less…

I went back home and reread my contract and it stated one week notice is only applicable if you’ve worked at the company for one month, anything less and you’re allowed to quit without giving any notice. I emailed my manager this and attached a photo of my contract and she replied back with a very clinical email saying that I’m no longer eligible for rehire within the company and to return my items or be heavily fined.

I’m not exactly upset by this since I have no intentions of going back to work for them, the company seemed shady and elitist anyway, but this is my first job I quit without notice. I’m wondering if this is normal procedure to not be barred from working at a company if I quit without notice?
