Hello there, so at work. We recently had half the staff quit back in November of 2023. We had 4 employees (3 managers and 1 normal employee). I'm the non manager here and we went on 3 months of extra shifts/double shifts before we finally found 2 new hires. One of them already quit. The other has weak work ethics that the management team doesn't think he will last long.
And tonight I find out one of the managers put in his two weeks and the two remaining managers have been showering me with compliments (which they never done before) and telling me how bad things have gotten and that we're “a team and we need to stick together” I've talked about putting my two weeks to customers and news spread to them about this.
I do plan on leaving within the next 4-6 weeks, but I worry they're gonna try to guilt trick me. Work is 2 minutes from my house and I do come here to shop often. How can I leave with this as professional as possible while holding firm I won't stay past my two week notice? Should I expect them to resent me and treat me differently in my final 2 weeks?
Any advice is appreciated!
